B I O G R A P H Y .

Laura Ng was born and raised in South Carolina before moving to New York City for college. She spent most of her early childhood drawing manga characters, watching cartoons, and playing piano. Growing up drawing manga, her style changed drastically as she entered high school. She experiments with combining mediums into portraits, though graphite is still her favorite.

By age 13, her parents bought a computer and she was introduced to the world of web design . Everything she learned was self-taught and on her own time. After two years of learning HTML & CSS technicalities, she concentrated on her Photoshopping abilities, learning everything by trial and error. As she entered her second year of high school, most of this was abandoned due to her studies becoming more demanding. This was also when she concentrated more on her artwork, and where she decided to attend art school rather than a regular college.

Most currently, Laura is now in her first semester of art school, attending the School of Visual Arts in New York City, studying graphic design. Though she tries diligently, she has yet to fuse her love of artwork and web design and graphics as one.
